Ten simple rules for reproducibility
12:00 PM
– 1:00 PM
via Zoom
Many things can affect reproducibility of research studies. We discuss ten “rules:” 1. Have a plan, 2. Manage researcher’s degrees of freedom, 3. It takes time, 4. Context matters: metadata, 5. Ensure data quality throughout the project, 6. Understand your data, 7. Make your analysis reproducible, 8. Write a report, 9. Keep version controls, and 10. Practice Open Science.
This seminar can be used as time for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training for The Graduate School requirements.
