Title: The Evolution of a Math Major's Career

I will talk about the evolution of my career path and tell stories about:

  • How I applied my math major to several fields including finance and programming; quality control in health research; environmental consulting, regulation, and policy; academia; geography and climate; human and ecological health; and health geography/epidemiology. 
  • The challenges and opportunities that ultimately led me to my current work.
  • Finding meaning in my work.
