Introduction to Meta analyses and systematic reviews

This workshop provides an introduction to the process involved in conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis from the planning stage, through the selection of appropriate statistical techniques and effect sizes, through the issues involved in analyzing data, to the interpretation of results. The PRISMA guidelines on reporting systematic review and meta-analysis will also be discussed. 

Basic knowledge of statistical modeling and narrative reviews are helpful for the workshop.
