Through MSU's international partnership program, the Center for Statistical Training and Consulting (CSTAT) hosted a series of workshops for a delegation of researchers and university leaders from Universidad César Vallejo (UCV) in Peru participating in a three-week research and collaboration program.  Over the course of the visit, CSTAT provided customized statistical training covering key topics in research methodology and data science, including study design, survey development, meta-analysis, missing data methods, causal inference, prediction model +AI reporting guidelines, statistical analysis plans, and data management. The workshops were led by CSTAT Director Marianne Huebner and CSTAT consultants Wenjuan Ma, Sichao Wang, Steven Pierce, and John Reaves, highlighting the breadth of statistical expertise available to researchers at Michigan State University.

This engagement reflects MSU's commitment to global research partnerships and demonstrates how statistical collaboration can strengthen research capacity, promote methodological rigor and reproducibility, and support scientific discovery across international institutions.
