RECR Eligible
With numerous survey platforms available on campus, selecting an appropriate solution is critical when collecting sensitive health information and supporting longitudinal data collection. This presentation will demonstrate how to design and build a REDCap project using best practices for protecting participant privacy while enabling repeated measures across multiple time points. Attendees will see possible failures and learn key strategies for managing identifiers, separating protected health information from research data, implementing secure workflows, and maintaining data integrity throughout the study lifecycle. Through a practical example, we will highlight project design approaches that help researchers balance participant confidentiality with the needs of longitudinal clinical research.
To receive RECR credit, attendance will be verified and a survey must be completed afterwards with well thought out responses.
